Redwoods, Les Blank, the Pacific Ocean, community, Zen Buddhism, asparagus ferns, Ruth Asawa, Andrea Arnold, my first edition copy of 'Americus' by Lawrence Ferlinghetti from Forest Books, having a garden one day, having a family, undaming and rewilding salmon, finally reading the Judy Chicago memoir on my shelf, Almost Famous and the only true currency in this bankrupt world, my boyfriend's charcoal drawings, the little fan that keeps me cool at night, the red and brown bricks of Sydney, San Francisco jade plants, cold white Jamaican tiles, the Dalgety pub and the RV park across the road, the comfort of a book, the comfort of the road, warm car seats under the windshield sun, campgrounds across America, national parks, Ozu films, Murakami novels, Leonora Carrington, public libraries, farmers, Calder jewelry, the Australian outback, topsoil, and the self-actualisation and liberation of all people, everywhere.
